When other people talk about the X-Men, or Superman, or the Fantastic Four, or whomever, I usually go into this blankish stare and say "I wasn't really into comic books when I was little."

That's not entirely true.

After I saw Who Framed Roger Rabbit, I wanted more. MORE! How could they just flash all of that cartoon-meets-real-world-reality-bending to a 12-year-old and then just expect him to quit cold turkey?

I couldn't do it. So I turned to comics.

Represented here are 15 of the 18 issues of Roger Rabbit that Disney Comics trickled out to soothe my addiction.

They're not carded and bagged and all that grown-up nonsense, but they're all beautifully unbent, non-ripped, and intact icons of obsessive behavior.
