The single most asked question here at misreviews (outside of, "You gave Viva Rock Vegas four chainsaws? What kind of crack are you on?") is of course, "Okay Mr. Poo-poo Pants, if you don't like beautiful films like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon then what the hell do you like?"
The results are not surprisingly somewhat less than OscarTM material.
Army of Darkness is now and will probably always be my favorite movie. I may not know art, but I know what I like, and I like smart-mouthed, time-traveling swashbucklers with chainsaw arms tearing apart an army of the dead single-handedly.
Dana Carvey, thanks for coming out of retirement to make The Master of Disguise. No really, you've done us all a great service. Now go far far away and never come back.
The other entries on the lists are definitely in my top ten best and worst, but are listed in no particular order. They're just gooduns and badduns to give you some idea of where I'm coming from.
If you want to fight about my choices,
send me an email. I might even respond, but I'll very rarely fight back. I know when I'm wrong.
